I am currently at a HACKFEST. I’m not sure how I snuck onto the invite list but now that I’m here, I really appreciate the beer, cheerios and conversation on offer.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to be one of those people who blogs live from a geeky event. This Super Happy Dev House is the pilot for an ongoing monthly event in Wellington (based on the same in the US), where people who love the web and other technology can get together and do our thing in the warm.

Awesome idea, extra awesome t-shirts, and if I understood any of the ‘lightening talks’ (GIT??!???), I’d love them too :)
