The Opportunity 

Looking for a usability focused, ‘web 2 aware’ web designer, based in Wellington New Zealand, to come on board our team in a lead role with equity opportunity. We’re at a really exciting stage in the web 2.0 space at the moment, with both our web design business Decisive Flow and Good Use and our PlanHQ http://www.planHQ business, and want someone special to come on board.

Web Design & Business Management

The main opportunity is to take the lead role in our cool little web Design co’s Decisive Flow and GoodUse which we’ve recently acquired. Together they’re quietly pumping along right now with a base of around 65 customers with heaps of active projects. Ideally you’ll manage the customer interaction as well, do proposals, lead the design and keep the customers loving you/us! We implement all sites on a Content Management System – CMS and have a partnership with Silver Stripe who do all the technical work, so we’ve got a great capability to deliver quite advanced sites. We do work for customers in New Zealand, Australia, US, China, and anywhere else people come to us from.

Interaction Design & Web Marketing – PlanHQ

We’ve also got a pretty exciting web 2.0 business with product currently in beta PlanHQ http://www.planhq.com which is getting fantastic feedback initial feedback, and if I can connect with the right person, you’ll have the opportunity to work with us across planHQ as well, and I make a point of taking good people into every venture I help kick off.

Remuneration $$

We want someone to get their teeth right into this, so working on a base + profit share and for the right person there’s an opportunity to take a stake in the Web Design business and join in as a partner.

Ongoing Development

We’ve got a very on to it team across Decisive Flow and PlanHQ and I’m very much committed to getting anyone new up to speed with the businesses and the web 2.0 space. Nat is a superb designer and while most of her time is taken up on PlanHQ, will continue to support whoever takes this lead role.
