Girls and Marriage
I appear to be hitting that good old age where someone puts something in the water supply and suddenly everyone is getting married.
Which means I’m often sitting here trying to work then find out that another one is ‘gone’ and get so over excited I can’t concentrate and start to resemble one of those beauty queens who wins and starts frantically waving her arms and crying and saying ‘OMG’ over and over again…
My wonderful, amazing friend Fi, who was the sparkle in my life when I arrived back in Wellington has just made the big announcement (well actually she made it on Facebook first, which for the first time in its existence didn’t NOTIFY ME).
There is nothing more wonderful than seeing the people you love the most finding people who they want to be with forever. :)

I know, right??? I got a lovely little message from Fi, and only found out about the engagement when I logged on to FB to reply and saw her status change!
But, bless her, she’s found joy! And it’s so wonderful to know that someone appreciates her the way we do.
Now just wait till you get to the age where everyone around you is having BABIES!

Hmm, one offer to make babies with you, and a sly suggestion that you will get to an age when others will be having babies and you won’t!

I am a trailblazer on this issue. When all my friends started getting engaged I gave up on them and moved to New Zealand….

Oh goodness I am already here! There is nowhere left to go to avoid it!
Thank goodness for the man drought, it really takes the pressure off when there are fights in the street over every available man.
