Give Something
The terrible, awful thing about working with Givelittle, is you come face to face with some of the saddest and most inspiring stories you are likely to encounter.
Last week, I was doing some testing and came across this story. It broke my heart, and apparently the hearts of a lot of New Zealander’s because I just saw her story on TV and she has been given a 5 day trip to Auckland with 7 friends, with pretty much everything a 7 year old could ever dream of. The great thing about Givealittle is you see people like this and you can give money straight to them and now that you are making life a little easier.
On the other extreme, Givealittle were probably the first to act after the Samoan earthquake yesterday. They have currently raised over $25k in one day and still counting. While other charities took hour or days to properly respond, Givealittle is right on top of immediate action and means when you are feeling the brunt of those awful images, you can actually DO something.

Having had 2 amazing trips to Samoa I was so sad to learn some of the most beautiful places have been destroyed let alone the people that have been and will be affected. Samoa will need all the help it can get and you reminded me how easy it is to do.

Jess Jess, yeah I think it’s the same as the Australian bush fires. We figure out pretty quickly how close we feel to our neighbours.
