Help Children, Support Sarah
My younger sister is well known to be the crazier of our bunch.
Not only does she ride bicycles on her own through Hanoi and do Outward Bound, she is now running a half marathon around Angkor Wat (I know I know, we should push her to do a full one, the slacker)
However, there is a more serious side to doing anything in countries that aren’t as lucky as ours, and she is asking for sponsorship for children in need and land mine victims in the beautiful country of Cambodia.
Having met a few of those children myself, and after hearing Sarah’s wacky stories, it’s clear that these kids have something special. I have never seen such desire to learn and the sheer amount of information they retain about every country they hear of iis incredible.
So if you’ve got a spare few dollars and think a half-marathon is a good enough reason to part with a bit of it, she would be eternally grateful!

OK. Donation made. So now I feel entitled to ask a question.
What is that second picture pose? It looks more like she’s caught half way through a cometitive marching step than a marathon stride! rotfl
As I can’t be there, there cheer, from here, will have to be enough!
GO FERGIE!!!!

Dave, you are a rockstar.
My attempts to get my sister to vote me best sister in the family are working well because of people like you :)
Yes, this was Sarah after doing her looong run, still not too exhausted to pose for the camera. Unfortunately, I was required to take pictures so coudln’t participate in the run…

Thank you guys! It does mean a lot to know people are supporting – when I get stared at for being a crazy foreigner running around and around the park, at least I know that it will all be for a good cause! And a very good cause it is.
In my defense: 1) the half marathon is the longest option – so no belittling (?) it Nat! And 2) well of COURSE I pose when there is a camera, I have Nat as my big sister/influence! haha
Thank you all again!
