One of my friends just got some bad news about something she was trying really hard to achieve. She’s absolutely gutted, but I am so proud of her.

Most people seem to go through life taking the easy option. Which is why most people hate their jobs, spend their nights watching TV and aim, at the very most, to get a promotion at some stage.

It is very rare to meet people who push themselves, who do things that involve a lot of time and effort and often result in a lot of pitfalls along the way. But they are always the coolest people to know!

I think this serves as a good reminder that the hard option IS hard, but well worth it :)
