Totally Out of My Depth

Pondered by Nat quite a long while ago…

Thursday pre-dash to Mt Maunganui was the monthly Vista Lunch with Jim, Jack, Mark and myself.

Once again, I enjoyed a scrumptious lunch while the intelligent among us debated wildly car manufacturing, social networking and other topics that flew over my head. We all agreed I was lucky to even make it after somehow finding myself wandering along the middle of the road to get there.

While I gather the others now have a new understanding of several perspectives on various aspects of corporate disaster, I am hugely excited at the prospect of no more Hummers.

The other benefits I took away were:

1. FINALLY having our monthly event recognised by staff at Vista as a regular occurrence.
2. The ability to eat in the sun.
3. My Favorite new dog: That gorgeous New Foundland(?) that was as tall as it’s owner.
4. My ability to appear like I know what is going on by slipping in the odd statement, while generally just being confused :)

Can’t wait till next month!

No more Hummers was announced in June:

Funniest line: “Now that $2 gas is gone forever, GM has very high-hopes for its plug-in electric hybrids”. News flash: prices are around $1.90 – $1.95/gal at the moment.

Judging by your sister’s photo, and working on the basis of genetics being reasonably consistent, I would say you could walk in deeper water than Jim D, and so were not out of your depth.
What a nice man he is.

The pic on the thread where you asked for sponsorship sweetie :-) And that just means you are probably taller than Jim! :-) :-) :-)

ha ha I thought there was a picture floating round the internet of my sister walking on water or something. I’m not blonde.

I love how this has turned into one big squishy marshmallow of good vibes and compliments. :)
